Montiel joins Saracens

Canada front rower Maya Montiel joined Saracens last week and went straight into the lineup against Wasps on Saturday.
Prop Montiel arrives in north London having previously played for University of Ottawa and made her debut for Canada in June against USA.
“It is an honour to join Saracens,” she said. “I’ve followed the Premier 15s for a few years and feel privileged to take on this opportunity. It is evident that the team continuously sets higher standards in the sport.
