Bristol Bears fell just short against West Country rivals Gloucester-Hartpury at Shaftesbury Park.
The Bears got off to a strong start, but it was the visitors who scored first with Emma Sing dotting down and successfully converting her own try. Despite a fantastic restart from Elinor Snowsill, the Cherry and Whites scored a second for the visitors in the corner to stretch the score to 12-0 with 20 minutes played.
