EXETER returned to Premier 15s action with a hard-fought victory over Loughborough at Sandy Park.
In a game of fine margins, the scores were tied at the break, with a Georgina Tasker try cancelling out a fine score for Exeter winger Laura Sheehan, after Kate Zackary had offloaded in contact.
It was the home side that had had the better of the opening exchanges playing into the wind, but handling errors had left them unable to capitalise on their territory.
