Sale Sharks centre-turned back row Katie Childs feels growing belief within her squad has been the key ingredient in their rise up the table.

The Sharks finished bottom of the PWR last season, but a series of improved performances this campaign has lifted the mood within the camp.
Childs, 26, who scored her third try of the season in the thrilling comeback victory over Loughborough last weekend, which moved Sale up to sixth, joined Sale from Leicester Tigers last summer and has enjoyed a full season in the forwards after transitioning from the backs midway through last term.
