THE Super Rygbi Cymru season kicks off on Saturday although missing from the action will be the player of the year, Ebbw Vale flanker Sion Parry.
He is set to miss the first two rounds of action because he is currently on international duty with Canada. He was due to face Japan yesterday and then Fiji on the opening weekend of the SRC.
The following weekend is another Pacific Nations Cup weekend, but he will be back to take over as club captain on 19 September for the away trip to Aberavon.
