Ironmen inflict more woe on lowly Ravens

MERTHYR kick started their Premiership season with a five-try bonus-point victory over a poor Bridgend side.
Rowland Phillips’ side physically dominated the Ravens who have conceded 119 points in a mere three games. This was Merthyr’s first victory of the season, and they were full value for all five match points with their all-round game too much for Bridgend to handle.
Somewhat surprisingly, it was the visitors who opened the scoring when Evan Yardley powered over from close off the back...
