Ken Owens came through his first half of rugby since October 2021 unscathed, although a second-half comeback saw Swansea take the win at Carmarthen Park.
The All Whites spoiled the return party for the Scarlets, Wales and British & Irish Lions star to notch their first win in the Premiership this season.
