Umaga to stay with Benetton

Former Wasps fly-half Jacob Umaga has signed a new deal with Benetton, keeping him in Italy until 2026.
The 25-year-old has spent the last year in northern Italy after Wasps went bust in late 2022, initially signing a two-year deal.
But after an excellent start to the URC season, where Benetton came into this weekend in second place, Umaga has decided to stay for a further two years.
Umaga won his only England cap against the United States in July 2021 but staying in Italy will keep him out of England consideration due to their overseas policy.
