Dragons to go private

Dragons RFC will return to private ownership this summer after a takeover deal for the Newport-based region was agreed on Friday with a consortium led by chairman David Buttress.
The WRU stepped in to support the Dragons in the summer of 2017. But a new six-year Professional Rugby Agreement (PRA) is now in place, and private ownership of the Dragons was one of terms set by the PRB for this agreement.
