John Cooney crowned his midweek contract extension with a stunning display to secure second spot in the URC table for Ulster.
Cooney scored a try and kicked 13 points to steer them to victory at Kingspan Stadium and guarantee they will be at home for the quarter-finals, and semi-finals if they get that far.
“We had to win. At halftime we said we had to be better but I feel we can go to another level. It’s championship rugby and we will have to be better,” said Cooney.
