Munster captain Peter O’Mahony said the win was all that mattered as they finally got their season up and running with a first win of Graham Rowntree’s reign.
They were far from convincing and were unable to get a bonus point when they failed to score in the second-half for the second game in a row.
“The win was paramount,” said O’Mahony. “We saw how dangerous they can be over the last few weeks so the most important thing was to secure the win.”
