Jordon Poole has challenged himself to become Coventry’s longest-serving captain of the modern era as he prepares to lead the club into a Champ title push.

The hooker is starting his fifth year at Butts Park Arena and has established himself at the heart of a club and city he now regards as home.
Poole has spotted former Coventry forward Phil Boulton, below, on the club’s captains board and says surpassing his six years at the helm has become a personal target.
“There’s a nice captains board down one of the tunnels and I keep seeing my name on that,” Poole told The Rugby Paper.
