Coventry scrum-half Josh Barton believes the mid-season break arrived at just the right time as his side target a sixth consecutive victory next weekend against fellow high flyers Bedford Blues.

After a relentless run of fixtures through Christmas and New Year, Barton, 26, admits the three-week interval has been much needed as Coventry aim to maintain momentum in the race for the play-offs and a shot at the title.
