SALE held off a second-half fightback from the Leicester Lions to secure a bonus point victory.
Having lost the three previous meetings between the sides, a fired-up Sale side were quickly on top and took the lead through a Robins penalty.
The Lions responded well though, and a Davies break, finished off by the supporting Palmer, gave the Lions the lead midway through the first half.
