A pulsating climax to a game that probably didn’t warrant it, but it was Sedgley Park who clung on to a win with some outstanding goal-line defence to secure the four points.
The Lancastrians were ahead for all but a handful of minutes of the contest, after Rhys Henderson collected a fine offload to score a converted try early on.
Tom Ffitch quickly responded with three-points for the hosts, only for Warren Seals to cancel them out, and then Henderson find space on the right touchline to add his second try for a 15-3lead.
