Cinderford suffered their second home defeat in a row to Esher.
Mason Tonks was shown a red in the 33rd minute for a punch.
Cinderford started the brightest through captain Harry Hone, breaking off a maul for his first try early on.
Mike Wilcox converted, much like he did for every kick he took.
The visitors punched back with a break from Daniel Rowland, before Pierre Thompson offloaded it to Luke Peters.
Esher’s second-row Adam Bullett then got over after some careless kicking. Sam Morley made the score 7-12.
