Sale FC came from behind to beat Darlington.
The visitors deservedly opened the scoring after four minutes when Callum Pascoe’s dotted down an unconverted try.
However, two minutes later, Sale would be in front. Kicking to a corner from a penalty resulted in a trademark lineout drive with hooker Josh Brown forcing it down. Tom Curtis, who was making his first appearance in almost two years, added a fine conversion to make it 7-5.
