Cambridge nudged up to second with a hard-fought win over Cinderford, eventually putting it beyond doubt in added time.
Joe Tarrant’s showand-go set the scoring in motion seven minutes in, but Cinderford were back on terms from the kick off, Morgan Adderley-Jones charging down a clearance to run in, with Michael Austin adding the extras.
They went ahead for the first time as Michael Wilcox finished off a flowing move that began outside the visitors’ 22, with Austin successful again off the tee.
