A Late try by replacement Callum Morris secured victory for high-flying Sale, but they were pushed all the way by a Plymouth Albion side whose efforts were rewarded with two bonus points.
Star of the show for Sale was experienced wing Nev Edwards, who scored a hat-trick of tries. Sale took an early lead when Edwards scored in the corner shortly after Plymouth full-back Phil Jones had been yellow-carded.
