CANTERBURY were competitive in the first half of this game, but a 36-point second half performance by hosts DMP blew them away on a cold day at the Darlington Arena.
Player of the match, DMP full-back Paul Jarvis opened the scoring for the home side after a 30-phase score right from the kick-off.
Canterbury replied minutes later when a catch-and-drive effort on the home 22-metre line was driven over for hooker Tristan King to dot down.
