CANTERBURY’s winless streak contined as they were beaten at home by Sale who recorded a bonuspoint victory.
The encounter started cautiously with neither side getting any points on the board until Edward Leatherbarrow touched down from a rolling maul with 15 minutes on the clock.
Chris Johnson was unable to extend the advantage as the strong breeze sent the conversion wide.
Canterbury grew into the game as the first half continued and they chipped away causing Sale to give away a lot of penalties.
