SALE ran in three second-half tries to come from behind and beat an inspired Loughborough Students on a testing afternoon.
The visitors took the lead when fly-half Mark Dixon dived over with full-back Charlie Reed adding the conversion.
Two tries then put Sale ahead. Adam Aigbokhae first went over in the corner before star man Jack Moorhouse scored off the back of a rolling maul. Kieran Wilkinson missed the first conversion but nailed the second, 12-7.
