Williams on song to subdue Club

A SPIRITED effort from Blackheath was not quite enough to overcome a Moseley side whose firsthalf performance gave them enough daylight to hold out for victory.
The hosts found themselves 16 points in arrears on two occasions but still managed to earn a losing bonus point.
Blackheath took the early initiative with Mark Cooke kicking them into a six-point lead, but opposite number James Williams soon halved the deficit before, in the 25th minute, Chris Brightwell burst over from a maul for a lead the visitors would not relinquish.
