Richards: US was a reasonable success

NEWCASTLE boss Dean Richards says the trip to America last weekend to face Saracens has helped the game despite seeing his side lose 29-7 in front of a crowd of just 6, 000.
“Rugby Union as a whole has got a reasonable amount out of it, ” he said. “It’s promoted the game, promoted the Premiership and created interest. There were a few glitches but, on the whole, it was a reasonable success.”
