Knee injury may keep Cipriani out till Xmas

WASPS fly-half Danny Cipriani could miss up to three months with the knee injury sustained in Wasps’ 24-21 Premiership defeat to Harlequins last Sunday.
Cipriani saw a specialist on Tuesday, who confirmed he has suffered a tear in the medial ligament in his knee which will take eight to 12 weeks to heal.
Back rower Alex Rieder needs surgery after dislocating his shoulder.
