EXETER University took their chance to boost their survival hopes, after humbling Taunton Titans with a second-half onslaught.
With the Titans safe in fourth place, the onus was on Exeter to match or better Loughborough’s result, for a chance of survival through the National League 2 Accession instead of automatic relegation. Clearly, they stood up to the task and dug deep to nail down the points.
