Vickery hat-trick holds the key in Hornet triumph

HORNETS emerged as deserving winners at the Beavis Memorial Ground over an out-ofsorts Cinderford team, with Corey Baker pulling the strings and Connor Vickery grabbing a hat-trick.
The visitors’ hooker Kieran Ward opened the scoring after eight minutes with a try from a line-out catch and drive, which went unconverted.
Hornets then returned the ball the length of the field for Vickery to score the first of his hat-trick of tries, which Luke McMullan converted.
