Mayell proves too strong for Titans

IN-FORM Loughborough Students welcomed Taunton for the first time in the two clubs histories in the opening game of the season – and couldn’t have made a better start.
Both teams named strong line-ups for a game that promised a lot of great rugby.
It took over 20 minutes for the opening score of the game, going the way of Loughborough with a try from Alex Wainwright, but the extras were missed.
Taunton hit back soon after with a Lucas Yapp penalty to make the scores 5-3 after 30 minutes.
