POWER and dominance in the tight exchanges helped Clifton to victory against a spirited Loughborough Students side.
The Loughborough men never stopped running the ball in a bid to exert pressure on the home team.
Following a lively opening period, Clifton second-row Freddie Myatt burst over to score and he was then instrumental in surging forward to present centre Will Owen with a second try.
The visitors took advantage of a missed tackle, with winger Jenson McInulty scoring and Alex Wainwright converting.
