IN last season’s corresponding fixtures, Luctonians had beaten Clifton home and away, but the Lavender and Blacks improved throughout the season to finish above the visitors by eight points. This Clifton team is younger and playing an attractive style of rugby: five of the starting 15 aged 20 years or younger.
Luctonians have had a strong start to the season with just one loss from nine matches; that reflects their ambition, and their 12 out of the past 13 seasons at Level 4.
