FANS were treated to an enthralling ten-try contest to start the league season, with both Chester and Exeter University keen to deliver some quality Saturday afternoon entertainment.
Chester built largely on their driving maul, while the visiting forward’s fitness ensured the game stayed competitive.
Chester scored a fine early try through Harrison Vare, overcoming the visitors’ rush defence.
