Hinckley backed up their win over Old Redcliffians with victory over top-five challengers Exeter University.
The home side started the game in dominant fashion and would have had an early lead if Cal Dacey had held onto an opportunity in space.
However, through the power of the forwards, Dale Bowyer went over from a maul after 20 minutes.
