MACCLESFIELD fullback Austen Keogh snatched a dramatic late win with the last play of the game in a pulsating 11-try thriller.
With just minutes remaining the hosts looked to have done enough when Louis Redfern created a 10-point cushion with his late try but an instant riposte from Samson Shute, dotting down in the corner, set up the last-gasp win.
The late heroics were not enough to clinch his side a promotion playoff spot as news filtered in of Tynedale’s win over Wharfedale.
