GIVEN the two teams’ respective runs and positions in the league you could have been forgiven for thinking this would be a walkover for Macc – but it was anything but!
The home the team looked rusty in an error-filled scrappy display by both sides.
Macc opened the scoring through Harry Oliver with an individual bit of brilliance only for Hoppers to strike back through Sam Freeman.
