Double delight for Darlington as rivals stumble

DARLINGTON Mowden Park overcame a sluggish start to complete the season double over local rivals Billingham in a classic ‘game of two halves’.
The visitors dominated the opening 40 minutes. Exploiting an error-prone DMP, Billingham crossed over with two tries from Eldon Myers and one from Kieran Clark, while Luke Wilson’s boot kept the scoreboard ticking with a single conversion.
However, a late converted DMP try by Kieran Forbes and a Flynn Ward penalty gave the home faithful a glimmer of hope head...
