A MUCH anticipated North East derby proved to be one-sided affair, as Tynedale stormed to a convincing victory over Darlington Mowden Park.
Despite both teams lying third and fourth in the table, respectively, the home side ran in five tries. For the second week running, their defence also achieved a total shut out.
Mowden Park will have felt perhaps a little hard done by over refereeing decision, but in truth Tynedale never loosened their grasp on the upper hand.
