DELIGHTED Hull Ionians nilled their nearest neighbours Hull to keep up the pace from fourth-place in the table.
Hull were unable to overcome losing four of their own lineouts, an adverse penal-ty count of 12-5 and the loss of influential number eight Evi Uriburu-Grey after half an hour.
On the other hand, the well-drilled Ionians begun brightly and, in just the seventh minute, a quick tap penalty caught Hull out, from 35 yards out, as Jimmy McDaniel raced over.
