ROSSENDALE were put to the sword by Hull Ionians, as the visitors ran in nine tries against a devastated home side.
The hosts did not get out of first gear against the hard-hitting opponents, with a whitewash of scores taking the match beyond all doubt before half-time.
Ionians opened their account after just four minutes, with a great line-out catch and drive dotted down by star man Adam Branckley.
The attacking onslaught was then followed up by a second dominant drive, with George Mewburn on hand for the score...
