WHAT an advert for the game in this area this was.
The two teams were inseparable for the first half, with macc racing into a 12-0 lead after tries from Winterburn and Longmore, but Tynedale didn’t come to make up the numbers leading 19-17 at the break after pulling it back to 12-12 through Hutton and Tully, before the 2 teams traded yellow cards and a try each (Manu Shute for Macc and Jake Scott for Tyne).
The 2 packs were trading blows incessantly and this is the first tiem Macc have been matched at the scrum this season.
