BILLINGHAM edged a pulsating contest, holding off a fierce Rossendale fightback to claim a win built on resilience, opportunism, and a stand-out display from Lauchlan Hill.
Hill opened the scoring after 13 minutes, finishing a sweeping move that set the tone for an end-to-end first half.
Rossendale hit back through Duaibe after nine minutes and Spencer shortly after the half-hour.
But Billingham’s response was emphatic.
