A LATE try from Alfredo Celella and Ben Smith conversion secured victory For Hull Ionians,
Scunthorpe took the lead following a catch and drive where Nick Dyson dotted down over the line, converted by Ethan Taylor, whofollowed up with a penalty to make it 10-0.
Talented No.8 Adam Brankley then went over from close range for Ionians and it was game on. However, following another infringement on the stroke of half-time, the boot of Taylor sent Scunthorpe in 13-5 to the good.
