DRIVING rain failed to prevent Tynedale maintaining their 100 per cent start with a hard-earned win over Otley .
All too often, the afternoon was punctuated by the shrill of referee Nikki O’Donnell’s whistle as players on both sides struggled to keep hold of the wet ball.
However, the conditions did not faze Tynedale kicker Cameron Grant, who had a perfect afternoon from the tee with two penalties and four conversions.
