TYNEDALE claimed a bonus-point victory over Darlington Mowden Park in their first National League meeting in a decade, but the hosts produced a spirited late rally.
The visitors seized early control, with Cameron Grant landing two penalties inside 16 minutes before Ben Douglas crossed for the opening try for the hosts.
Further first-half scores from Archie Rattray, Charles Richards and William Roberts, plus three Grant conversions, stretched the visitors’ advantage to 27-5 at the break.
