Visitors hand Scunthorpe a very rude awakening

SCUNTHORPE made a return to level 4 rugby and were brought down to earth with a bump, but a try bonus point made it not empty-handed.
It started ominously for the home team as DMP scored within four minutes to find themselves 0-7 down, through a try by Luke Coulston and conversion by Flynn Ward.
But Scunthorpe returned with vigour, securing several penalties, one of which debutant Will Dark converted to get Scunthorpe on the board.
