HULL Ionians’ strong tackling and the running lines of their backs saw them outplay Wharfedale to gain a well-earned victory.
Hull Ionians soaked up Wharfedale pressure for the first 15 minutes with hard tackles, then a dropped pass saw Lewis Minikin kick with Alfie Celella kicking on but just knocking on as he went for the try.
