THE race for the title continues to be a fascinating one in National Two North, with Lymm responding to Leeds’s win on Friday night in some style by scoring seven tries at Beechwood to ensure they remain joint top, just ahead of Sheffield.
But they didn’t have it all their way in a somewhat attritional first half, turning around at the break just six points ahead.
Nathan Beesley scorched over for their opener, but the Chester response was swift, Tom Ellis sniping for the equaliser.
