Crossland clincher proves difference

IN A tight contest, Otley came out on top after a dramatic comeback.
In a bright start Sam Connor scored first for Otley after his teammates drove their way to the line, but Ionians hit back straight away through Tom Winch’s converted try. Connor’s converted try saw the home side retake the lead.
Ionians found their form as Will Yates scored in the corner with Lewis Minikin landing the conversion and two penalties. A late Rowntree penalty made it 17-18 at half-time.
