ROCKY Prowse scored a hat-trick as Taunton Titans overpowered Macc in a high scoring affair.
Taunton showed no signs of ring rust by racing into a 19-0 lead after 10 minutes through tries by Lucas Yapp, Prowse and Archie Spokes.
At that point it was looking like a long afternoon for the home side, but Macc woke up and scored twice through Sam Adu and Ollie Longmore to reduce the arrears to 12-19 after 20 minutes.
