A CRACKING game was in the balance until the closing stages when Tynedale finally overcame a stiff Sheffield Tigers challenge.
Slick handling by James Broadley put Tom Calladine in for the opening Tigers try after just three minutes, but Tynedale came roaring back in style , with Joe Lilley crossing on seven minutes, before a charged down kick brought a rare try for prop Mike Hughes.
