HULL earned a bonus point from a game where their deserved half-time lead was overhauled as Rotherham's powerful pack turned the tide to see the promotion aspirants record a further victory to keep them close to leaders Leeds.

Rotherham scored first when Jean-Baptiste Bruzulier burrowed his way over, with Will Milner adding the goal after 15 minutes.

Hull responded when Duell Trueman's break allowed Alex Heard to hand the ball to Jamie Shaul to score and Reece Dean convert.

A Dean penalty shortly afterwards gave Hull the lead, but Rotherham hit back with a converted Jack Taylor try, before Tom Bairstow touched down near the posts, with Reece Dean converting to give Hull a 17-14 lead at the break.

But after the break Rotherham changed their tactics and their powerful pack laid the foundations for the victory.

Milner scored within two minutes of the restart, with Harry Dunne, Tipiloma Kivalu, Taylor and Marcus Payne also crossing the whitewash.

Milner also landed four of the conversions.

But there was also time in final ten minutes for Hull to strike twice with tries from James Naylor and Joshua Papa.
